Red, white, and blue printed silk campaign banner, 16.5 x 26.5 in., with legend in white lettering: "National Progressive / TR / 1912." Red background with blue line rectangle and blue circle at center. Featuring Theodore Roosevelt's signature hat at center surrounded by a pattern of bears, "big sticks," and bull moose heads. 1912. See Collins, Threads of History, fig. 940. Framed, 24 x 34.5 in.
Theodore Roosevelt's dissatisfaction with William Howard Taft led to a split in the Republican Party and Roosevelt's formation of the National Progressive Party, also known as the "Bull Moose Party," in 1912.

At the request of the buyer, Cowan's will authorize the shipment of purchased items. Shipments usually occur within two weeks after payment has been received.
