- Lot Description
Lot of 7, most approx. 3.25x 7.5 in. Five pre-printed for Virginia City, Madison County Recorder. These also have a nice graphic of elk along a stream at the foot of some hills. One is from Star Mill District, Jefferson County, with a graphic of an Indian. One is from Prickly Pass, Jefferson County. All for George W. Inscho. Dates: November 27, 1861; September 21, 1863; September 21, 1865 (4); and April 20, 1866. These date from early in the mining "boom" in Montana.
