Lot of 2 stereoviews from The Modoc War series, each with credit to photographer, Edward J. Muybridge, and publishers Bradley & Rulofson, San Francisco, CA. Titles include "1625 - One Eyed Dixie and Modoc Squaws," and "1628 - Warm Spring Indian Scouts in Camp."
Muybridge's series on this 1873 event remains one of the few "on the spot" photographic records of the Indian Wars.
Some light toning to each photograph, few scattered spots. Each mount with some scattered smudges. Each mount with light corner/edge wear. Overall very good condition.Condition
