Meissen Partial China Set
German, early 20th century. 124 Gilt-rimmed tableware decorated with polychrome floral motifs, including sixteen dinner plates, twelve luncheon plates, twelve soup plates, twenty-four bread and butter plates, twenty-three ramekins, six fruit bowls, twenty-three cups with one saucer, two graduated square dishes, five oblong platters of various sizes, and one gravy boat. Meissen underglaze blue mark to each; largest platter lg. 21.25 in.
Very minor chips to one fruit bowl and several tea cups. One dinner plate and soup plate have re-gilt chipped areas. Very few pieces with notable gilt loss.
SHIPPING. At the request of the buyer, Cowan's will authorize the shipment of purchased items. Shipments usually occur within two weeks after payment has been received.
