Lot Description

Moseley, Benjamin. A TREATISE ON TROPICAL DISEASES; ON MILITARY OPERATIONS; AND ON THE CLIMATE OF THE WEST-INDIES. London: G.G. and J. Robinson, 1795. 3rd Edition with considerable additions. 8 1/4 by 5 1/4 inches in contemporary tree calf with gilt printed red leather label to spine. The first edition was 1787; the second 1789. From the preface to this 3rd Edition: "I have added much important matter, also an index... I have likewise made further corrections and alterations in the arrangement of the whole." Early manuscript owner's name written on A2, "Santiago Rollinson, M.D."

Condition

Some scuffing to leather; one signature pulled with slight fraying to page edges; otherwise sound and clean.
