Spooner, C(yrus). HELPS FOR THE SICK, OR MEDICINES AND REMEDIES WHICH HAVE BEEN FOUND USEFUL IN MOST DISEASES ARE COLLECTED TOGETHER AND NUMBERED FOR PARTICULAR DISEASES, WITH DIRECTIONS HOW TO USE THEM AND WHEN TO CALL THE PHYSICIAN. (no place): (no publisher), no date. 5 3/8 by 4 inches in contemporary full calf with gilt ruling to the spine. A reissue of Cyrus Spooner's, "A Practical Manuel (sic) For the Practising (sic) Physician and Surgeon," published in Zanesville in 1817; retaining the original copyright statement at the rear. OCLC shows only two copies, one at AAS and the other at Rochester University Medical Center.

Condition

Rubbing to extremities but a solid and sound example of this rare book; with adhesion damage to the copyright leaf at the rear and resulting tears to rear free endpage.
