- Lot Description
American, Massachusetts, late 18th-early 19th century. A Hepplewhite bowfront chest in mahogany, having a shaped surface with banded inlaid perimeter, above four graduated dovetailed drawers with brass escutcheons and pulls, banded inlay on skirt, all over four splayed feet; ht. 35.75, wd. 41.75, dp. 22.25 in.
Condition
Repairs to three of four feet (all but back left), some bottoms of drawers split, split to right side, repair to edges between third and fourth drawer. Newer pulls and escutcheons. Some minor restorations.
