- Lot Description
19th century. A shaving stand in mahogany, with hinged oval mirror over case with one long drawer flanked by two short drawers, all dovetailed with brass pulls, over splayed front feet, and with banded inlay on top of case; ht. 13, wd. 17, dp. 8 in.
Silvering on mirror is deteriorating in some spots. Repair to where mirror stand meets base. Inlay has thin cracks and has been repaired. Possible repair to interior of drawers, and newer pulls. Thin splits in apron. Repair to square section on top of base. Splits in wood around mirror.Condition
