- Lot Description
** M-1 Springfield Garand NM Rifle
.30-06 caliber, 24" barrel, S/N 6097553 . Parkerized finish, smooth, pistol-gripped walnut stock. Receiver with standard Springfield Armory markings and serial number, barrel marked HRA and dated 6-52 . Barrel marked with a star and " NM " at breech and " NM " on reverse near muzzle. NM marked rear sight and adjustment knob, front sight marked NM/062 , NM marked operating rod. Interior of stock and magazine floor plate numbered 4471 . Stock with D.O.D. cartouche on reverse and [circle]-P in pistol grip. Stacking and sling swivels, includes unmarked M1907 pattern leather sling.
Fine. Retains most of the Parkerized finish with some light wear and thinning. Markings remain clear and crisp. Mechanically functional, fine bore, with both the throat and muzzle measuring a tight "1".Condition
