- Lot Description
French, mid-late 18th century. A Louis XVI salon suite including a settee (ht. 44.5, wd. 66, dp. 24 in.) and two fauteuils (each ht. 43, wd. 26. dp. 24 in.), all upholstered, having floral-carved crests, above padded backs continuing to padded arms with carved handholds and downswept supports, over padded seats with floral carved seat rails and rosette corner blocks, all rising on stop-fluted legs.
Loss to gilding in spots on all pieces. Wear consistent with age and use.Condition
