- Lot Description
19th century British swallowtail-style blue wool uniform with red collar and cuff facings. Quilted interior. Front is closed with fourteen plain domed brass buttons. Seven buttons marked "FIRMIN/LONDON". One button marked "ARMY & NAVY SUPPLY STORES/LONDON." Functional epaulets. Also includes compisite U.S. Shako with Cavalry Insignia and infantry buttons, as well as one U.S. Model 1895 officer's cap marked "PORTLAND/ N.Y." with eagle buttons and braiding on crown.
Condition
Fair condition. Uniform may have holes and tears from age and insects, and is missing one button. Cap and shako are in good condition with some bubbling and crazing on the brim of the Model 1895 cap.
