Advertising George Forepaugh's "Zoological and Ornithological Caravan," to be exhibited in West Chester, NY on April 13, 1868. Border features illustrated vignettes of the various animal species on display, comprising "22 Massive Dens of Animals," with larger image of a lion, tiger, zebra, leopard, bear, ostrich, and others shown at center. Acts of note include Romeo, an "Asiatic Mastadon..., actual weight Four Tons, Seven Hundred Pounds"; Baby Annie, a nineteen month-old African elephant who is "little but perfectly formed"; "A Snow White Double Humped Bactrian Camel"; and "A Black Dromedary From the Deserts of Zahara: Featured animals such as a "Pure White Polar Bear," "a Cheetah, or Hunting Leopards," "White Peacocks," a "South American Tapir,"; and "over One Hundred Imported Birds and Lesser Animals" round out the group. Performance information, including pricing and showtimes, listed near the bottom. Reverse advertises human circus performers, appearing in acts of "Equestrian and Athletic Entertainment," with illustrations along top and left edge. Headliners include: equestrienne Eliza Zern; Miss Katie,"the Infant Child Artist"; William Aymar, "Leading Clown of the day...and the Happiest Conversationalist"; and John Batchelor, "The Ambitious Trampolinist."

Illustrated in black ink with pictures of the "Strange & Peculiar People" featured in the show, including "Afghans, Hindoos, Australian Cannibals, Soudan Warriors, Nautch Girls," [and] "Buddhist Priests" plus an assortment of "Hairy Dwarfs...Together With a Living Herd of Forty Elephants" Reverse printed and illustrated in black and red ink, advertising "Barnum & London's Glorious Carnival," with pictures of two equestrian acts. Ticket pricing included, for both circus admission and railway fare from various cities to Philadelphia.

Printed and illustrated in black ink, advertising "The Great Show and Animal School" with portrait of Rice at top center, along with the acts, mostly equestrian, illustrated vertically in miniature along the left side. Rice will appear in his popular role as "American Humorist, or Clown to the Arena" in what is advertised to be his farewell tour. Other featured performances include the "Herd of Sacred Cattle," "Blind Talking Horse, Excelsior, Jr." and "Original Comic Mules Pete and Barney.
