- Lot Description
14.5 x 6.5 in., London Colt Model 1851 case with caps marked Ely Bros over London. Has brass bible hinges and rotating locking clasp on front. Top of box has a round brass medallion. The case has a green felt lining with label marked Theophilus Murcott over Gun Maker over 68 Haymarket over London S.W.
Provenance: N. Flayderman and Co., Inc.Case is in overall good condition with some nicks, dings and scratches. There is some residue from paper labels on the top of the case. The hinges and locking clasp are in good condition. The lining is good showing age with wear to the edges and corners. The inside label is in very good condition.Condition
