H. H. T. M. R--I. THE WONDERFUL HISTORY AND ADVENTURES OF THE RENOWNED AND VALOROUS KNIGHT ERRANT SIR RIVERS, giving an entertaining account of his surprising adventures to the moon, his matchless exploits in the cave of Montiscomous; his many dreadful encounters with enchanters, giants, monstrous dragons, griffins, spectres, enchanted castles, & c &c. &c. London: J. Fairburn, 1805 (?) 7 by 4 1/4 inches in a modern cloth binding. 24 pages with a folded, hand-colored frontispiece. OCLC shows only two institutional holdings - U.C.L.A. and the Library of Congress.
Front hinge is cracked; covers spotted and worn. The folding frontis illustration is 11 1/2 by 6 3/4 in good condition and includes 4 hand-colored panels on one sheet showing Sir Rivers slaying the giant Arragon, rescuing the Princess Atalanta, etc.Condition
