American and German, ca. 1900-1942. A group of forty-three pre-war toy train accessories, including one Jefferson transformer, Lionel accessories including one transformer, one No. 438 signal tower, one No. 93 water tower, four orange telegraph poles, four green telegraph poles, four lamps, three RR crossing signs, one black No. 77 crossing gate and one green, one No. 88 rheostat, one No. 95 rheostat, three wooden barrels, one flag pole, six crossing signals (two No. 82N green, two No. 123 red, and two unidentified numbers), two No. 78 signal lights, one No. 99 signal light, one RR crossing sign, one reproduction signal base, one cart, one No. 2 track connector, two No. 222 switch controls, and one Bing (German) water tower; largest tower ht. 15.5 in.
Plus, an assortment of fifteen printed toy train related materials, including nine issues of Train Collectors Quarterly from 1983-1985, one 1928 Lionel trains catalog, one Aster Live Steam catalog, one 1983 Lionel Market Price Guide, Toy Train Treasury Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, and one Lionel Trains Standard of the World.
All show some degree of paint loss, corrosion, cracks, and/or oxidation. Books somewhat faded and pages show toning.Condition
