The Pittsburgh Gazette. Pittsburgh, PA: John Scull, April 28, 1807. Vol. XXI, No. 1075. 4pp, 10.75 x 17 in.
Newspaper featuring front-page, local prospectus for Patrick Gass' Journal of the Voyages & Travels of a Corps of Discovery, Under the command of Captain Lewis and Captain Clarke [sic], published in Pittsburgh that same year by David McKeehan. Described in the notice as "One of the persons employed in the expedition," Gass' account of the Lewis & Clark Expedition was the first to be published.

Disbound. With some partial separation along central, vertical fold. Some chipping along this fold as well. Few light spots throughout.
