Landscape Painting Attributed to William Sommer, Plus
Attributed to William Sommer (Cleveland, 1867-1949). Oil on canvas on board, housed in a wooden frame. Landscape scene with farm nestled in a hillside, PLUS a photograph entitled Detergent Jewels by the artist's son, Ray Sommer; painting 23.5 x 19 in. (sight), photograph 15.5 x 19.5 in. (sight).
This painting was given by the artist's daughter-in-law from his estate to the owner's family who were friends of William Sommer's son, Ray, and his wife. The painting is accompanied by a document of authentication dated June 1979 from Bonfoey Gallery of Cleveland, Ohio.Provenance: Gift of the artist's familyCondition
