- Lot Description
.455 CF caliber, 6" round barrels, S/N 7140. Marked on top of the barrels Charles Lancaster's Patent 151 New Pond St London England. Each barrel is marked with three English proof marks, each with a corresponding proof marks on the frame. The underside of the barrel is stamped 31, with the serial engraved on the underside of the triggerguard. Blued finish with checkered walnut grips with rare square butt.
Barrels are sharp with crisp markings, mottled gray patina with some brown staining. Traces of original blue finish present in protected areas. Grips good with some nicks and dings. Bores is good, action slightly loose and the trigger return spring is weak, otherwise functional.Condition
