- Lot Description
Japanese. A group of three lacquerware boxes (late 19th-early 20th century), including:
one jubako box comprised of three parts and cover, decorated with maki-e flowers and vines in gold among nashiji ground, interior compartments with nashiji as well, ht. 6.25, wd. 6, dp. 4 in.;
one box with stand with maki-e blossoms in silver with gold leaves on nashiji ground, interior fitted with removable tray in gold with red interior, ht. 8, wd. 7.25, dp. 5.25 in.;
and one lidded box in lac burgaute adorned with mother of pearl medallions of blossoms and fruit, interior fabric-lined; ht. 9, wd. 11.75, dp. 9.25 in.

Jubakowith some losses at edges/corners, box with stand ship to corner, some minor losses, had been repaired, mother of pearl box with some losses to abalone.Condition
