- Lot Description
L.C. Smith Field Grade Double Barrel Shotgun
20 gauge, 28" barrels, S/N 123925 . Blued and color case hardened finish, checkered splinter forend and checkered, pistol gripped stock with Hawkins red rubber recoil pad. Length of pull 14.75", drop at heel 2.5". Side plates marked L.C. SMITH , matching serial numbers on barrels, forend and water table, which is also marked " FIELD ." Right barrel marked L.C. SMITH FIELD GRADE; left barrel with Hunter Arms Company address. Double triggers, extractors, sliding safety on top of wrist.
Good. Barrels with faint traces of blue and an evenly oxidized plum brown patina. Frame with traces of case color, mostly in protected areas. Marks clear and legible. Mechanically functional, bores very good. Stock with light to moderate wear and scattered handling marks and dings.Condition
