- Lot Description
American, late 19th century. A Kyser & Rex cast iron mechanical bank depicting a lion and two monkeys, marked PAT JULY 17 83 on underside. Place coin in monkey's hand and press lever on tree to lower hand, swing up small monkey, and open lion's mouth to deposit coin; ht. 9.5, wd. 8.5, dp. 3.25 in.
Paint loss and craquelure on body of lion. Could use a cleaning.Condition
