- Lot Description
Japanese. A group of two damascene Komai cigarette cases, each with gilt decoration and with Komai Seibei mark on interior, including one with village scene with boats, the other side with a landscape with heron, birds, and various flowers on the exterior, opening to open interior with single elastic strap (ht. 4.75, wd. 3.5 in.); and one decorated with village scene with Mt. Fuji in the background, the other side with fighting birds opening to an interior with one open side with elastic strap, fitted with mirror and three small doors with floral knobs, suspended from a small chain (ht. 3, wd. 3.75 in.).
