Wearing a squash blossom necklace, silver jewelry, and traditional buckskin dress, this young Pueblo Indian girl is seen in other Moon images from the period and is also referred to as KI-É-TE-DAY, A LAGUNA MAIDEN / From the Pueblo of Laguna, New Mexico. A more common variant from the portrait session seen here is entitled "Loti" or "Laguna Girl." This "Comacita" version is rarely seen and highly desirable as an oversized platinum photograph, the most revered and permanent of all photographic printing processes.Condition
