- Lot Description
American, late 19th century. A Judd "Gem" cast iron mechanical bank, marked with title on side and PAT'D on roof finial. Cock the dog in place, put coin on tray, and release the dog to jump forward and deposit the coin; ht. 3.5, wd. 6.25, dp. 2.5 in. Plus, a "Kick Inn" wood mechanical bank, marked with name on barn and original paper tag on underside. Lock donkey's rear legs, place coin in tray and push lever to release donkey and kick coin into the inn; ht. 6.75, wd. 9.5, dp. 4 in.
"Gem" missing spring and has wear, spots of oxidation, and paint loss. "Kick Inn" could use a cleaning, and paper is slightly loose and worn at the edges on the inn.Condition
