- Lot Description
.45 caliber, 4.75" barrel length, S/N CJWC2924. Top of the barrel marked in single line with Colt Hartford address. Left side of the barrel with gilt inlaid of patriotic eagle motif and marked in gilt with John Wayne in a banner under the spread wings of the eagle. Right side of the barrel with floral scroll engraving and gilt western design. The cylinder has 2 gilt rope borders on each side and in the center marked in gilt with a portrait of John Wayne and on the adverse side John Wayne on horseback. Left side fo the frame marked with gilt patent dates next to Rampant Colt logo. Right side of the frame with floral scroll engraving. The back strap has gilt John Wayne signature and Red River D brand. Blue finish with bone grips. Walnut case with red suede liner. Lower left corner of the case with Colt John Wayne commemorative plaque.
*Requires FFLThis gun overall is very good to excellent retaining most of the finish throughout. The grips are very good to excellent. The case is very good with minor nicks and dings.Condition
