Poster printed on glossy paper, 20 x 30 in. War is Over! If you Want It / Love and Peace from John & Yoko. 1969.
The poster was created to promote both John and Yoko's peace campaign against the Vietnam War as well as their "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)" single. It began on the face of billboards, but leaflets were also distributed, posters plastered up, newspaper advertisements placed, and radio announcements made in 1969.
