John Bell Pennsylvania Flower Pot
John Bell (Pennsylvania, 1800-1880). An earthenware flower pot in mottled brown glaze, having handles in the form of grape clusters and two molded cartouches containing urns with floral bouquets, on a round foot, stamp on neck John Bell / Waynesboro; ht. 9 in.
Provenance: Purchased by the consignor from Garth's Auction, September 19, 1964
Light chipping around interior rim, along with two hairlines. Significant chip in foot. Small chips and other wear to foot. Missing undertray. Some firing cracks, under glaze, around handles.
