Japanese, 20th century. A gold lacquerware tea set comprised of six cups and saucers (each cup ht. 1.75, saucer dia. 3.75 in.) with rectangular tray (lg. 15.5, wd. 11 in.), decorated with irises, chrysanthemums, bamboo, and flowering prunus; PLUS a set of eight matching lacquerware shallow footed bowls the interior decorated with two flying cranes, the exterior pine (each ht. 1.5, dia. 4.25 in.).
