- Lot Description
American, late 19th century. A J. & E. Stevens "I Always Did 'Spise a Mule" jockey cast iron mechanical bank, marked with title on top of base and PAT'D APR. 22'D 1879 on underside. Place coin in jockey's mouth and press lever to buck mule and fling jockey forward to deposit coin; ht. 8, wd. 10, dp. 2.75 in.
Paint loss, could use a cleaning. Mule latches but releases very easily at lightest touch.Condition
