American, late 19th century. A J. & E. Stevens "Chief Big Moon" cast iron mechanical bank, marked with title on side and PAT APLD FOR on underside. Place coin in front of tent, push lever, and frog pops out of pond while figure raises arms and coin drops; ht. 6, wd. 9.5, dp. 4 in.
Paint loss, movement works but could be tighter.Condition
