American, ca 1830. A three-tier sewing box in mahogany, having ivory and bone pulls and finials, the lower two tiers set with drawers and the top tier with a removable lid centered by a pin cushion finial, the whole with line inlay and rising on bun feet; ht. 7.75, wd. 8.75 in.
Provenance: Property from the Descendants of Bertha Benkard Rose, Oyster Bay, NY and Tucson, AZSome finials replaced, one missing. One drawer back missing veneer.Condition
