- Lot Description
English, 19th century. An ironstone partial tea service with fourteen pieces in matching pattern, including three saucers, six bread plates, one luncheon plate, and four cups; plus, thirteen other ironstone or blue and white china pieces, including a one sugar dish and scuttle, one tripod tea accessory, two teacup and saucers sets, one teacup, three plates, and a luncheon plate and teacup and saucer set in pattern similar to the larger matching set; luncheon plate (largest) dia. 10.5 in.
Provenance: Property from the Estate of Julie Parrott Smart, New Carlisle, OHAll four matching teacups are chipped around lip. One is also chipped on foot, and another has a rough texture around rim. Luncheon plate has a chip on rim edge. Of the other ironstone, unmatched pieces, both teacups and saucers have hairlines. There is a chip on the luncheon plate that has a similar pattern to the matching set. Hairlines on one of the unmatched bread plates. Crazing to almost all pieces.Condition
