- Lot Description
American, mid-19th century. A Mitchell & Rammelsberg two-piece Gothic Revival secretary bookcase in mixed woods with faux rosewood finish, the upper section having a carved and arched pediment with outset corners and finials, over a pair of arched mullion glass doors opening to three-shelf interior, above two aligned drawers with wooden pulls, the lower section having a flat writing surface over two dovetailed, aligned drawers with fold out writing surface, all rising on sleigh feet. Label in lower left drawer; ht. 105, wd. 46, dp. 25 in.
