A forty-seven-piece sterling flatware service by Gorham and Whiting in the Madame Jumel pattern, including eight dinner forks, eight dinner knives with stainless blades, twelve teaspoons (one of these slightly smaller than the rest), five tablespoons, eight salad forks, eight butter spreaders, two serving spoons, one ladle, one asparagus server, one carving fork with stainless tongs, and one carving knife with stainless tongs; each marked for respective maker and STERLING; carving knife lg. 10 in., total weighable silver wt. 47.440ozt (1475.5g).
