- Lot Description
American, late 19th century. Four lithographs, hand-colored, all framed, with two framed in tiger maple. Titled l.c., respectively, The Ingleside Winter; Skating Scene - Moonlight; The Old Farm House; and Woodlands in Winter; each inscribed PUBLISHED BY CURRIER & IVES / 152 NASSAU ST NEW YORK l.l. and l.r. beneath plate; each approx. 10 x 14 in. (sight), largest frame 18.5 x 22 in.
Condition
The Ingleside Winter has buckling. Skating Scene - Moonlight has toning, loss below the word "Moonlight," and a 1-inch long tear in the upper right corner. The Old Farm House has toning and a 1/2-inch long tear in the upper right. Woodlands in Winter has toning and two 1/2-inch long tears and areas of loss at upper edge. Not examined out of frames.
