- Lot Description
American, late 19th century. A Hubley "Trick Dog" cast iron mechanical bank with six-part base, marked with name on front and PAT JULY 31, 1888 on underside. Place coin in dog's mouth, push lever on right side, and dog jumps up to deposit coin in barrel; ht. 7.75, wd. 8.5, dp. 2.75 in.
Paint loss. Clown and barrel are both loose on base, and could use a cleaning.Condition
