- Lot Description
Hopkins & Allen Arms Co. No. 822
.22 LR caliber, 21.25" round barrel length, no S/N. Markings on top of barrel in front of rear sight "Hopkins & Allen Arms Co., Norwich, Conn. USA." Behind front sight is marked "No. 822" over "22 Long Rifle." Case colored frame with blue barrel. Barrel has a buckhorn rear sight and blade front sight. Walnut stock and forearm. Black checkered buttplate.Condition
The markings are legible but barrel address is blending together. The frame, hammer, trigger and lever all have a nice darkening patina with very fine pitting to the touch. The barrel retains some of the blue with some wear to the muzzle. The barrel has some light salt and pepper pitting throughout. The stock and forearm have scratches, nicks and dings throughout. The bore is good and can clean.
