- Lot Description
American, 19th century. A pair of hollow-cut portrait silhouettes of gentlemen, surrounded by reverse-painted glass panels in gilt frames, each with embossed mark T.P. Jones / Fecit; 6 x 5 in. (sight).
Jones was active in New York and New England in the early 19th century.
Provenance: Property from the Collection of Dr. James and Betty Sutherland, Cincinnati, OHPaint loss to glass panels and gilt loss and cracks to frames.Condition
