- Lot Description
.30 carbine, 18" barrel, S/N 806911. Parkerized finish, semi-pistol gripped smooth walnut stock. High-wood stock appropriately marked OI in the sling cut out and on the interior, hand guard OI marked on interior as well, narrow barrel band. Crossed cannon Ordnance cartouche on obverse of butt forward of oiler cut out and Circle-P inspection on base of pistol grip with an additional Z inspection mark. Barrel with three-line Inland mark, dated 7-43. Serial number and barrel date appear to correctly coincide with known Inland production. Includes oiler and OD green web sling; no magazine present.
**Requires C&R or FFLFind overall. Retains most of the Parkerized finish, mechanically functional, with a very good bore with lots of grease residue. Stock crisp with clear marks. This appears to be a very nice, unmolested mid-war production M1 carbine.Condition
