American (Cleveland, OH), 19th century. A two-gallon stoneware crock by Higgins, & Co., a Cleveland pottery operating from 1837- 1850, with applied handles, incised banding, featuring impressed maker's mark and cobalt brushwork decoration on front; ht. 10.75, dia. 9 in.Condition
