Continental, 20th century. A collection of seventy-five pieces of Herend porcelain in the Rothschild Bird pattern including sixteen dinner plates numbered 1524, fifteen tea cups and twelve saucers numbered 1726, eight soup bowls numbered 1501, two salad plates numbered 1518, six bread and butter plates numbered 1516, twelve dessert plates numbered 1520, one bread and butter plate numbered 1515, one triangular vegetable bowl numbered 1191, one round vegetable bowl numbered 1082, and one celery dish numbered 1213. Each piece marked; largest plate dia. 10 in., round serving dish dia. 10.75 in.
Lot also includes one broken dessert plate. One dinner plate with glue repairs. Chip to one dinner plate. Several other dinner plates with utensil marks and loss. One tea cup cracked. Two tea cups with broken handles (pieces present).Condition
