Vol. 1, xv, 529; Vol. 2, xv, 472pp. Illustrated with wood engravings on tissue paper, mounted on plates or in the text; photogravure frontispieces on mounted India paper; 6 original etched plates, each signed in pencil by artist G. Montbard; 3 folding maps, of which 2 are mounted on linen. No. 103 of 250 copies of the Demy Quarto Edition de Luxe. First American Edition.
Signed by Stanley at the limitation statement in Volume 1. Elegantly printed on large paper, with striking engravings.
