- Lot Description
.36 caliber, 39" octagonal barrel, no S/N. Striped stock with brass nose cap, ramrod pipes, side plate, triggerguard, patch box, and butt plate. German silver lozenges on barrel, thumb piece, and cheek piece. Blade front sight with v-notch block rear sight and double triggers. Barrel appear to be marked "T.W." Lockplate marked "R & W.C. BIDDLE & Co/PHILADELPHIA".
Fair. Barrel has an overall smooth plump patina, with with brass parts taking on a dull luster. Some pitting near cone. Lockplate has darkening with worn markings. Hammer is marred from use. Stock has some blemishes consistent with age as well as some missing wood around lockplate. Bore is good; some old pitting with moderate wear to rifling.Condition
