- Lot Description
French Single-Shot Rifle
.32 caliber, 25.5" round barrel, no visible S/N . Blued and case hardened finish, breech loading, wood stock.Condition
This gun is in overall good condition showing a plum patina on the barrel mixed with some areas of original blue and a couple spots of erosion. The breech loading mechanism is very good with considerable original case colors. The action is crisp and the bore is fair with some scattered pitting. The barrel, breech mechanism and receiver are each stamped with crossed lightning bolt proofs with the barrel proof also displaying a crown over "F" markings. The wood stock is good + with scattered old mars and scratches from carry and storage.
