- Lot Description
.67 caliber, 41" pinned semi-octagonal-to-round barrel with baluster turned rings at breech. Browned finish, brass furniture, walnut half-stock. Breech with London commercial proof marks and maker's mark WW, top flat engraved YARMOUTH. Lock marked R DAVY. Rounded lock plate with pointed rear, fenced and bridled iron pan, flat, bevelled swan neck cock. Side plate, buttplate, forend cap, triggerguard and wrist escutcheon all of brass. Brass pipes brazed to barrel, brass tipped wood rammer.
Good. Metal with a mostly smooth plum brown patina with some scattered roughness. Mechanically functional, good bore is dirty. Stock with some wood repair around lock, otherwise sound with bumps and dings.Condition
