American, late 19th century. A group of five majolica and porcelain humidors, including:
one majolica in the form of a bear, marked 6676 / 32 on underside; ht. 6, wd. 4.5, dp. 3.5 in.;
one majolica in the form of a frog holding a pipe, marked 4033 / 31 on underside; ht. 6, wd. 4.5, dp. 3.5 in.;
one majolica in the form of an elephant, unmarked; ht. 6, wd. 4.5, dp. 3.5 in.;
one majolica in the form of a girl sitting on a melon, marked 24 / 6606 on underside; ht. 9.25, wd. 6.75, dp. 4.5 in.;
and one porcelain bisque in the form of a monkey, marked 8785 / 2 on underside; ht. 4.5, wd. 3.25, dp. 3 in.
Frog has light chips to rim of body, elephant has some crazing to bottom and chips to front rim of top piece, monkey has paint loss and small chips to rim of body, and girl on melon has hairline crack to rim of the top piece and paint loss to the face, hair, and hands. Other general wear consistent with age and use.Condition
