- Lot Description
American (New England), early 19th century. A Federal chest of drawers in cherry and birds eye maple, having a rectangular surface with outset cookie corners and banding inlay, above four maple inlaid cockbeaded and dovetailed drawers with brass escutcheons and pulls, flanked by continuous horizontally reeded columns on casters, with a central medallion shaped apron; ht. 36, wd. 42.5, dp. 20 in.
Condition
Item is in overall great condition. Small loss of inlay on apron. surface wear. Retaining old finish with alligatoring. Pulls and hardware not original.
