- Lot Description
.22 S/L/LR, 24" barrel, tubular magazine, S/N 137286. Blued finish, smooth straight-gripped walnut stock, grooved, round walnut forend. The telescope sight listing in the 1939 Winchester Retail Price List states "Price for attaching these sights to other rifles, furnished on application." This dual sight Model 62A is equipped with a Winchester 2.75- power scope and 32B rear and 75 front sights. The base placement and overall workmanship indicate that this Model 62A was factory-scoped. It also has British proofs and was most likely one of the guns Winchester supplied to England for Home Guard use during WWII.
**Requires C&R or FFLVery fine to excellent, retains most of the bright blued finish with some very lightly scattered surface oxidation. Mechanically functional, fine, bright bore. Stock with light handling marks. Clear optics.Condition
