The prints are accompanied by a presentation leaflet in Spanish including a list of the works compiled and a declaration of principles from the Taller de Gráfica Popular; 15.75 x 10.5 in. (sheet, each), 16 x 11 in. (portfolio).
The Taller de Gráfica Popular (TGP) was a Mexican print collective founded in 1937. The collective's initial mission was to put forth progressive political ideas to oppose the growing fascist ideology. The TGP evolved throughout the twentieth century to address other issues such as economic depression and racism, prompting collaborations with WPA artists and US Civil Rights activists.
