English, first half 19th century. A group of blue transfer Staffordshire from the Sporting Series by Enoch Wood & Sons, including two platters featuring the patterns Polar Bear Hunting and Elephant, and a small plate in the Leopard pattern, all marked, PLUS an oval bowl in the Polar Bear Hunting pattern; Polar Bear platter lg. 16.5, wd. 13 in.
Provenance: Property from the Mary Alice Geier Turner Estate, Cincinnati, OHPolar Bear bowl broken with repair. Polar Bear platter with knife marks.Condition
